Celebrating Sharon -guest speaker at the National HIU Conference in Manchester!!!

Sharon talked through a case study of a gentleman that she has been supporting over the past year, highlighting the diversity of complex requirements, and the multi-agency work that was needed to help the gentleman in the many aspects of his life.

Sharon was also able to highlight how the humanistic approach is vital when working with people who have had many difficult and challenging experiences with services over a long period of time. And how using a person-centred approach which starts with looking at the underlying factors to a person's mental ill health, can be a keystone to long term recovery.
