It's Trustee Week! An annual celebration our the amazing volunteers working behind the scenes on charity trustee boards.

Doncaster Mind wouldn't be the successful charity it is without the skills, dedication and passion of each of the very special eight people who make up our board of trustees.

Our trustees are - as the name suggests - entrusted with our organisations strategic decision-making, and they provide invaluable and impartial insights to help us fulfil our purpose. At Doncaster Mind, our mission is to ensure that no-one has to face a mental health difficulty alone, and our Board is constantly ensuring that we're on the right path to achieving that.

The past few years, post pandemic and now in a cost of living crisis, have been particularly challenging and have seen our organisation face unprecedented demand for our services and support at a time of decreased funding.

Even the most experienced trustees are being tested by these challenges and it is a testament to them that we are meeting these circumstances with resilience and tenacity.
