Supported Self Help for Children (11+) and Young People
What is supported self help?
Supported self-help is a six-week guided programme, where we give you the materials to understand and manage your feelings and our amazing practitioners will call you on a weekly basis to guide and support you.
This service is a one-to-one guided self-help program rather than a counseling service, although our practitioners use counseling-based skills in their support. These includes elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) tools and other forms of assistance.
Between 84 - 90% of people who have accessed this service have experienced improvements in their mental health.
“Zoe has been great, very understanding and helpful and has made me feel better about a lot of things that cause my anxiety. She has helped me understand it and how to deal with it in a better and more positive way.”

Is this service right for me?
-
It doesn't matter if you have an existing treatment plan for your mental health – our practitioners will help you understand if this service is right for you or reach out to other services that might help
-
We don't care how 'serious' your problem is – it is for you if you feel your emotions are getting the better of you
-
You don't need to have a diagnosed mental health problem to access this service.
How much does it cost?
This support costs £140 for the whole programme of 6 sessions including your initial consultation.
